Balkassar Chakwal – بلکسر
Balkassar is a city, an administrative subdivision, of Chakwal District. It is part of Chakwal district. It is located 95 km south of the federal capital, Islamabad. The city got its name from the Kassar tribe, who also make up the bulk of the population. It has all Muslim religious sections. It has a big interchange connected to motorway M2.
It has also many known restaurants, Chaman Sadabahar and SHEHRYAR RESTAURANT are very famous in Balkasar. Col. M. KHAN a very famous writer of urdu literature belong to balkassar. DHERI TEA STALL and Samundar Hotel are very famous tea points in Balkasar town.
