Budhial, Chakwal

The Budhial village is situated at nearly 25 kilometers distance from Talagang Tehsil of Chakwal, The Budhial is also union council of Chakwal District. Budhial is the most beautiful village in Chakwal, and has many places that worth seeing, Budhial has anotable place being Spring Ankar which is located in the south of Budhial village. Tareekh-e-Budhial, a book wrote by Muhammad Ghaus on the history of Budhial village and on the different clans resides in Budhial. 95 percent of the total population of Budhial is belongs to the Awans. The Budhial village is surrounded by the villages of Patwali, Singwala, Misral and Tamman. The village has an elementary school for boys, and also a school for girls is available in the village. Where the students of Budhial and its nearby villages are studying and the schools are playing a part in educating the nation. The elementary school for girls is scheduled to be upgraded to the high school level soon. Village has also two madarsa (a Islamic teaching school), for boy and for girls separate. Budhial village has the high literacy rate.

Budhial  is also had the honor, that it is the hometown of Captain Muhammad Nawaz, who won Asian championship twice in Javelin throw and is also a pride of Performance winner. A gate of Liaquat Gymnasium Islamabad has been named after him as the Nawaz Gate.
